Volunteers play a huge part in making this event a successful one! As a result, there are several benefits of volunteering: 

1. If you volunteer for two or more 4-hour shifts, you will receive one VIP Pre-sale pass and you will be in the very first group to shop, which means you will have first dibs on the best deals! (Thursday, October 21, 4pm to 9pm) 
2. If you volunteer for one 4-hour shift, you will receive one VIP Pre-sale pass and you will be in the second group to shop – great deals will still be available! (Thursday, October 21, 5pm to 9pm)
3. Volunteers that assist with set-up and consignor drop-off will have a sneak preview of the items to be sold at the event and will know where the items with the best deals are located. 
4. New to the area or want to make new friends? This is a great way to be a part of this event and meet other women with similar interests.
5. We will be eternally grateful to you for all of your efforts in helping to make this a successful event!
   Keep in mind that you don’t have to be a consignor in order to volunteer and, as a volunteer, you can give your Pre-sale pass to a family member, co-worker or friend.  Men are welcome to volunteer!

Volunteer Rules:

1. You cannot shop while you are volunteering.  (i.e. you cannot pile or set aside items for your own purchase or a friend’s purchase while you are volunteering)
2. If you are also a consignor, you cannot schedule your drop-off appointment for your consignment items during your volunteer shift.
3. You cannot edit your registered volunteer schedule after 12:00 am on October 3.  Volunteer registration schedules will be locked at that time.
4. You cannot bring your children with you when you volunteer. 
5. If you fail to volunteer at your chosen time slot, Elly’s Closet, LLC has the right to exclude your consigned items from the sale (if you are a consigner) and to deny you entrance to the VIP Pre-sale.  You will also be excluded from volunteering at all future events.  If you have an emergency, please call Elly at 301-801-5763 to let her know you will not make your shift.  In all other instances, please find a replacement volunteer for your shift. We are counting on you!
6. Volunteers should show up 15 minutes before their shift begins in order to get checked in and to learn about their volunteer station.

Your volunteer shift(s) will not be secured until you sign and submit the Volunteer Release and Waiver of Liability form to Elly's Closet, LLC, c/o Eleanor Hunt, 45755 Hollow Lane, Lexington Park, MD 20653.  This form is available on your Consignor Log-In page.
